PROCESSING TIMES

The current processing times for all IEC categories are calculated from the date on which your completed application was received at the Youth Mobility Unit.

Processing Times for Thursday, September 02, 2010:
PHASE 1: Youth Mobility Unit - 3 weeks
PHASE 2: Visas and Immigration Service - 3 weeks
We are respecting the principle of “first come, first served” both for the attribution of places within categories and for the processing of applications.

Note for candidates applying to categories "Young Professionals", "Internship / On-the-Job Training" and "Student Summer Job":
We are aware that certain job or internship confirmations are received late, and we try to process applications so that each candidate may commence his/her position on the date indicated on the contract. However, we cannot guarantee the issuance of the letter of introduction before the contract start date if the interval between the date on which we receive the application and the date on which the position begins is shorter than the processing time indicated on our website.

The processing time that applies to your file is that which is indicated on this page on the day your application is received by the Youth Mobility Unit.

We will not respond to any enquiries concerning your file within these processing times.
