Program, Project or Mission Performance Support Workshop
Background
This workshop strengthens program/project implementation for overall effectiveness of your program or mission. It provides support for adjusting certain elements and strategies required to realize the full potential of the program/project. Existing mechanisms need to be reviewed and optimized to better address the changing context of the program/project. The program or project’s overall effectiveness will be enhanced, and its end results consequently strengthened.
Goals
- Strengthen the performance and results of an existing program/project
- Through dialogue, address the issues or impediments to effective collaboration and achieving sustainable results
- Strengthen the knowledge base for effective program/project delivery
- Renew trust, relationships, shared commitment and common ground and
- Identify lessons learned since the beginning of the program/project.
Who is this for?
Programs, projects, missions, or events involving intercultural and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
When and where?
Workshops may be held at any time during an international collaboration. Workshops must bring together the partners involved and will be held where the greatest number of key players can meet, either in Canada or, more often, abroad.
Cost
Are you working on a program/project sponsored by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)?
Yes
In principle, all CIDA-funded programs and projects are eligible for the in-country services of the Centre's Intercultural Facilitation and Organizational Development Unit through an Administrative Agreement between CIDA and DFAIT. The request may be initiated by a CIDA program/project officer or by one of CIDA's partners or executing agencies.
All workshop development costs and facilitation costs are covered for CIDA-approved workshops. Costs related to bringing together participants and local facilitators are not included.
