Minister Fast Leads Trade Mission to India

The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade, together with Robert Dechert, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice, will lead a six-day, three-city trade mission to Mumbai, Delhi and Chandigarh, India, to boost Canada and India trade and investment partnerships.
India is a priority market under Canada’s Global Markets Action Plan (GMAP)—the blueprint for creating jobs and opportunities for Canadians through trade. India is also a priority market under Canada’s International Education Strategy (IES), a key element of GMAP, and is the second-largest source of foreign students studying in Canada.
