Ministerial visit to Orlando

Minister Van Loan visited Orlando, Florida, on January 13 and 14, 2011 to strengthen Canada-U.S. partnership and create jobs and economic growth.
During his visit, Minister Van Loan met with the new Florida Governor, Rick Scott, and promoted Canadian expertise in the construction and energy sectors. In addition, Minister Van Loan opened the Canadian Pavilion at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando, the largest trade show in North America for suppliers to the residential building market.
