Minister Peter Van Loan visited Washington, D.C. on May 18 and 19, 2010 to speak to the US Chamber of Commerce and meet with senior economic experts and members of Congress.

Minister Van Loan discussed the importance of the Canada-U.S. economic relationship and outlined Canada’s ambitious free trade agenda. He also emphasized that Canada is fighting protectionism and commiting to opening doors to international markets.
