Commonwealth Fund for Technical Cooperation

The Commonwealth operates a technical assistance program financed primarily by the Commonwealth Fund for Technical Cooperation (CFTC). Canada is the CFTC's second-largest contributor, providing $13 million in 2009/10. The areas of CFTC focus are governance, democracy, human rights, trade, investment, private sector development, and debt management.
