To request a re-allocation of returns, please contact the Department in writing at Beef.Veal/Boeuf.Veau@international.gc.ca and provide your company name, its EIPA number, and the quantity requested. Please note that re-allocated quantities count when assessing under-utilization as per section 10 of the Notice to Importers.

For the week of October 29 to 31, 2014, the amount of TRQ available for re-allocation is: 9,921,483 kg.

The Department will accept applications for the available quota on a first come first served basis starting at 1:00 p.m. eastern standard  time on October 29, 2014, and until 4:00 p.m. on the same day.

Applications for re-allocation must be sent electronically to the following address: Beef.Veal/Boeuf.Veau@international.gc.ca.

The available TRQ will be re-allocated to applicants on a load-by-load basis (to a maximum of 26,000 kilograms per load) until the entire amount has been re-allocated. Each applicant will be advised of the quantity re-allocated to them on October 30, 2014.  Multiple applications from one applicant will be rejected, including the first submission. Applications from allocation holders who have not fully utilized their initial allocation will normally be rejected.

Each application for re-allocations will be evaluated on its own merits and must include the following:

Re-allocated amounts are subject to the underutilization policy, as per section 10 of Notice to Importers No. 846, dated October 30, 2013.

The Department will continue to publish the amount of quota available for re-allocation each Wednesday morning on its website. Interested applicants must submit a new application every week that quota is available.
