SUBJECT: Milk Protein Substances Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) Quantities Available Immediately
The purpose of this message is to inform industry stakeholders that quantities of tariff rate quota (TRQ) for milk protein substances (MPS) with a milk protein content of 85% or more by weight, calculated on the dry matter, that do not originate in a NAFTA country, Chile, Costa Rica, or Israel for the period of April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012 have become available.
The quantities were made available as per the method of allocation of returns as established in section 7 of Notice to Importers No. 787.
As of December 19, 2011, 2,180,000 kg are available on a first-come, first-served basis until March 31, 2011.
