Members of the public are invited to attend the hearing in the softwood lumber arbitration, LCIA case 111790, on British Columbia timber pricing. The LCIA tribunal will conduct the hearing from February 27 – March 9, 2012 in Washington, D.C.
The hearing will be held at the Offices of the World Bank, Main Building, 1818 H Street, NW, Washington, DC, in room MC 13-121. The hearing is scheduled to take place from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST each day, although if the Panel requires, the hearing could go beyond 5:30 pm. Due to the security requirements of the World Bank, any person who wishes to attend the hearing must register beforehand and will be required to provide photo ID on site.
While these arbitral hearings are open to the public, the tribunal may order members of the public to exit the hearing room if confidential information is to be presented. Please note that public seating in the hearing room is limited and consequently will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
