Who We Are and What We Do

The Office is a resource that people can draw on to reduce and to constructively resolve conflict between project-affected communities and Canadian extractive sector companies outside of Canada.

Our Advisory Role

One of the roles of the Office is to advise stakeholders on the implementation of the voluntary performance standards endorsed in the Government of Canada’s CSR Strategy for the Canadian International Extractive Sector.
