In reply to telegram No. 53 of April 2nd† from the Acting Secretary-General of the United Nations, I have the honour to inform you that the Canadian Government concurs in the summoning of a special session of the General Assembly to constitute and instruct a Special Committee to prepare for the consideration of the question of Palestine at the next regular session of the General Assembly.¹³³ ¹³³Le 2 avril, le Royaume-Uni demanda au secrétaire général d'inscrire la question de la Palestine à l'ordre du jour de l'Assemblée générale. La session spéciale de l'Assemblée eut lieu du 28 avril au 15 mai. On April 2, the United Kingdom referred the question of Palestine to the Secretary-Generat] for inclusion on the agenda of the General Assembly. The special session of the Assembt]y was held April 28 to May 15.
