This figure depicts how much a percentage change in labour productivity, a percentage change in the labour force participation rate and a percentage change in the employment rate has influenced overall per capita GDP growth in various countries and regions between 1991 to 2010. Per capita growth in Canada was 29.6% with 21.0% growth in productivity, 2.6% growth in the employment rate and 6.0% growth in the  labour force participation rate;  per capita growth in China was 142.3% with 139.2% growth in productivity,  a 1.9% drop in the employment rate and 4.9% growth in the  labour force participation rate; per capita growth in India was 88.0% with 72.7% growth in productivity, 11.4% growth in the employment rate and 3.8% growth in the  labour force participation rate; per capita growth in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region was 85.6% with 62.9% growth in productivity, 2.3% growth in the employment rate and 20.3% growth in the  labour force participation rate;  per capita growth in the developing Asia-Pacific region was 70.6% with 66.8% growth in productivity,  a 0.6% drop in the employment rate and 4.3% growth in the  labour force participation rate; per capita growth in the United States was29.7% with 33.3% growth in productivity,  a 3.0% drop in the employment rate and a 0.5% reduction in the  labour force participation rate;  per capita growth in the EU was 28.3% with 23.6% growth in productivity, 0.8% growth in the employment rate and 3.9% growth in the  labour force participation rate; per capita growth in the Middle East region was 24.7% with 14.1% growth in productivity,  a 3.3% drop in the employment rate and 13.9% growth in the  labour force participation rate; per capita growth in Africa was 22.2% with 13.0% growth in productivity, 3.9% growth in the employment rate and 5.4% growth in the  labour force participation rate; per capita growth in Japan was 12.7% with 17.3% growth in productivity,  a 3.1% drop in the employment rate and a 1.5% reduction in the  labour force participation rate.
