Value of Exports, by Firm Size, 1999-2009

This figure depicts the value of exports (C$ billion), by firm size, between 1999 and 2009.

Small firms exported C$86 billion in 1999, which expanded to a high of C$122 billion in 2005 before falling to C$ 120 billion in 2007, C$103 billion in 2008 and further to C$68 billion in 2009; Medium sized firms exported C$31 billion in 1999, which gradually expanded to C$51 billion in 2009; Large firms exported C$199 billion in 1999, which expanded to a high of C$245 billion in 2008 before falling to C$ 157 billion in 2009.
