Travel and Work in Croatia for Canadians Ages 18-35 

Croatia and Canada have signed a formal arrangement that permits Canadians to travel and work in Croatia for up to 12 months.
 

Please consult the website of the Embassy of Croatia to find out how to submit an application to participate. Please note: application times, fees and approvals vary from country to country. Foreign embassies may use different names for each category. It is recommended that you plan your trip well in advance of your anticipated departure date.

General FAQ about Travel and Work in Croatia

1.  Fee to participate: HRK 520.00*

2.  The amount of money that a participant must demonstrate they have in their bank account prior to departure:

Students: for an intended stay of up to 6 months: up to HRK 6,000.00*
Students: for an intended stay exceeding 6 months: up to HRK 12,000.00*
Other applicants: for an intended stay of up to 6 months: up to HRK 12,000.00*
Other applicants: for an intended stay exceeding 6 months: up to HRK 24,000.00*
