Road to the 2018 G7 Summit in Charlevoix

Follow:

Canada will hold the G7 presidency from January 1 to December 31, 2018, and will welcome global leaders to the G7 Summit in late spring. This past May, the Prime Minister announced that the Summit will be held at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu in La Malbaie, Quebec, located in the Charlevoix region. The Summit will take place from June 8-9, 2018.

The G7 Summit brings together the heads of government of the G7 plus the European Union to discuss and build consensus on some of today’s most challenging global issues.

Charlevoix will provide a window on Canada’s warm hospitality, natural beauty, innovative spirit, rich history and cultural diversity. It will be the perfect setting for positive and productive discussions.

We invite Canadians to subscribe to our social media channels as Canada prepares to host this major international event. You can also consult the website for general information on the G7 and to learn more about what Canada’s presidency means.
