Partnership to fund gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls in developing countries
Canada has become a global champion of gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, both at home and abroad.
In line with these values, Canada is creating a unique partnership to catalyze new investments in support of gender equality and the rights of girls and women in developing countries.
This initiative will bring together the Government of Canada, the philanthropic community, the investing community, the private sector and civil society to mobilize unprecedented levels of resources in support of this goal.
