Applications for Imports of Military and Strategic Goods and Technology

Service standard

Applications for permits to import controlled strategic goods for eligible importers who have provided all required supporting documentation, will be processed within 10 business days. Please note import permits for strategic goods can only be applied for within 30 days of the proposed date of importation.

The target for achieving this standard is set at 90 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2016-17 year was 97.80 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2015-16 year was 99.40 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2014-15 year was 96.20 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2013-14 year was 98.90 percent.
