Application for Log Export Permits

Service standard

Export Permit Application for Logs: Export permits that are processed by an export controls officer will be issued within 3 business days of receipt of a properly completed permit application. Permit applications should be received 3 business days prior to the expiry date of the surplus letter.

Export Permit Amendment Requests: Permit amendments that are processed by an export controls officer will be issued within 3 business days of receipt of a properly completed permit amendment request. Application for a permit amendment should be submitted by the applicant at least 5 business days prior to the expiry date of the export permit. Examples of amendments which are processed by an export controls officer include extension requests and addition of consignees.

The target for achieving these standards is set at 90 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2016-17 year was 98.60 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2015-16 year was 99.10 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2014-15 year was 99.82 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2013-14 year was 99.70 percent.
