Application for Export and Import Permits for Non-Strategic Goods (Agriculture, Clothing & Textiles)

Service standard

Import and export permit applications that are automatically redirected (routed) to the bureau's officers or which have been flagged for an officer's review by the applicant, and when no additional information or documentation is required, will be processed within 4 business hours.

Import and export permit applications which cannot be completed electronically will be reviewed promptly. Applicants will be advised of any necessary supporting documentation or additional information within 4 business hours; any outstanding issues will be resolved as expeditiously as possible.

The target for achieving these standards is set at 90 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2016-17 year was 83.80 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2015-16 year was 91.40 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2014-15 year was 95.45 percent.

Departmental performance for the service standards set out above for the 2013-14 year was 91 percent.
