Ministers at World Economic Forum Annual Meeting

January 17 to 20, 2017

The Honourable Bill Morneau, Minister of Finance; the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development; the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of International Trade; the Honourable Scott Brison, President of the Treasury Board; the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage; the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change to attend the upcoming World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting.

The six ministers will meet with government officials and business leaders, and lead several WEF sessions to address issues related to WEF’s 2017 theme: Responsive and Responsible Leadership.

  • The annual meeting attracts over 2,500 top business and political leaders, intellectuals, journalists and civil society members.
