Informal Meeting on Transfer Control Principles for Small Arms and Light Weapons

Canada is pleased to be holding an informal meeting on transfer control principles for small arms and light weapons. The meeting will present an opportunity to identify/refine global principles that could provide guidance with respect to the transfer of small arms and light weapons throughout the world. It will also be an occasion to discuss the practical application of such principles and strategies to mobilize resources to develop capacity in support of effective transfer controls.
