Minister Van Loan announces $3 million to help Canadian communities attract foreign investment and create jobs under the Invest Canada – Community Initiatives program.

Minister of State Kent travelled to Kampala, Uganda, from July 23 to 25, 2010, where he participated in the 15th African Union (AU) Summit and promoted the Muskoka Initiative on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health.

Minister Cannon travelled to Vietnam from July 22 and 23, 2010, to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Post Ministerial Conference and the ASEAN Regional Forum.
