The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting is a unique multilateral venue where the world’s top decision makers from government, business, media, and civil society gather to collaborate on urgent economic, political, environmental, technological, and social challenges to shape the global, regional, and industry agendas.
The WEF’s 2014 theme focused on The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Politics, Business, and Society. Programming aimed to develop the insights, initiatives, and actions necessary to respond to current and emerging challenges.
Canada engaged with prominent industry executives and government officials at the WEF to promote its many business advantages, to enhance its strong ties with the global community, and to participate in shaping the global agenda.
