Jules Léger Library
The Jules Léger Library's main mandate is to support the research needs of departmental employees both at Headquarters in Ottawa and at missions abroad. In addition, the Library supports the needs of Canadian and foreign clients conducting research in the subject areas mandated to the department such as foreign affairs and international trade.
In April 2011, the Jules Léger Library moved to a new location on the main level of the Lester B. Pearson Building at 125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa. Reference and lending services continue to be available in person and via phone and e–mail during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays and weekends).
Effective April 2012 all non–DFAIT visitors to the Jules Léger Library will require a visitor's pass. To obtain a pass, please register at the commissionaire's desk located in the Main Lobby of the L.B.Pearson Building (125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa). Valid identification is required.
If you have any questions, please contact our Reference Desk at 613-992-6150.
