Minister Baird is in Mexico on his first official visit to the country as foreign affairs minister. On Monday, August 15, 2011, he will discuss a number of important bilateral issues with his Mexican counterpart, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Patricia Espinosa. Minister Baird has just completed a visit to South and Central America with Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Following the meeting with Secretary Espinosa, Minister Baird will hold a media teleconference.
