Canada Provides Assistance to Canadians and Other Foreigners in Leaving Gaza
The Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced Canada's efforts in helping Canadians leave Gaza.
"Today, 48 Canadians safely departed from Gaza and were transported to Jordan. Our diplomatic missions in the region played a crucial role in coordinating this operation, not just for the Canadians but also for approximately 250 foreign nationals from 20 other countries," said the Minister.
"Canada is grateful for the assistance provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross in supporting this departure."
