"Canada is concerned about the reported deaths, violence and destruction associated with recent political demonstrations and unrest in Madagascar," said the Minister. "We urge all parties to exercise restraint, and we call on political leaders to engage in dialogue to find political solutions that respect the country's Constitution and the rule of law."
