Canada Sends Message of Condolence to the People of Tanzania
(No. 259 – September 10, 2011 – 3 p.m. ET) Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird today expressed Canada's condolences to those affected by the sinking of a ferry in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
"On behalf of the government and people of Canada, I offer sincere condolences to those affected by this tragic incident.
"Canada stands with the people of Tanzania at this difficult time."
