Baird Expresses Canada’s Condolences to Turkey After Death of 25 Soldiers
September 6, 2012 - Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird today issued the following statement:
“On behalf of all Canadians, I offer my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the 25 Turkish service members who lost their lives yesterday in a tragic accident at an ammunition depot.
“We stand with the Turkish people at this difficult time.”
