John Baird, Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister, meets with K Shanmugam, Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law, on July 22, 2011, on the margins of the ASEAN Regional Forum and Post Ministerial Conference in Indonesia.
The two ministers discussed issues facing a rapidly evolving Asia, including the East Asia Summit.
Minister Baird addressed Canada's significant investments in developing its Asia-Pacific Gateway and the importance Canada places on working with ASEAN partners to increase trade and create jobs, while also enhancing security.
