Minister of State Ablonczy Visits the Clínica Madre Coraje de Comunidad de Niños Sagrada Familia in Ventanilla, Peru
July 29, 2011 - Ventanilla, Peru - The children of Clínica Madre Coraje de Comunidad de Niños Sagrada Familia in Ventanilla, Peru, greet Diane Ablonczy, Minister of State of Foreign Affairs (Americas and Consular Affairs), during her visit to the centre. Antoine Chevrier (Director, Counsellor and Head of the Canadian International Development Agency in Peru), walks behind the Minister of State.
The Clínica Madre Coraje de Comunidad de Niños Sagrada Familia is a small centre that provides a home, education and health services for children in particularly difficult circumstances. .It also operates a half-way house for youth who are ready to be reintegrated into society. These services are funded by the Canadian Embassy in Peru through its Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
