John Baird, Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister, meets with Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Patricia Espinosa, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mexico City on August 15, 2011.
This is the first formal bilateral meeting between Minister Baird and Secretary Espinosa.
The ministers reviewed the bilateral relationship and discussed common multilateral and regional priorities. Canada and Mexico are close friends as well as strategic partners on North American, hemispheric and global issues.
