Minister Oda participates in the Scaling Up Nutrition Event during the United Nations General Assembly meetings

September 20, 2011 - New York City - The Honourable Beverley J. Oda, Minister of International Cooperation, with Irish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Eamon Gilmore, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and UK Secretary of State Andrew Mitchell, participates in the Scaling Up Nutrition Event during the United Nations General Assembly meetings. Undernutrition is one of the world's most serious and most neglected health problems, falling hardest on the very poor, women, and children. Canada is a leading international partners in the Scaling Up Nutrition movement to champion nutrition in our maternal newborn and child health initiative, as well as across other sectors.
