The Global Counter-Terrorism Forum is a new international initiative to effectively combat terror around the world. Its membership of 30 countries includes Canada's traditional allies, emerging powers and Muslim-majority countries. Efforts to better coordinate counterterrorism measures will focus on the rule of law, border management and countering violent extremism.
The Global Counter-Terrorism Forum is co-chaired by the United States and Turkey.
