July 16, 2012 - Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei - Canada has excellent relations with Brunei both bilaterally and through cooperation in multilateral organizations such as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Commonwealth, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum (APEC) and the United Nations. This visit is part of Baird’s Southeast Asia tour aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and advancing Canada’s prosperity agenda.
