Baird Visits Jordanian Refugee Camp on Syrian Border
August 11, 2012 - Amman - Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird today toured the Zaatari refugee camp with Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.
During his visit, Baird committed $2 million to medical aid in Syria and $1.5 million to the UN World Food Programme.
Since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, over 140,000 people have fled to Jordan.
