Algonquin College’s largest international branch campus set to open in 2014 Kuwait

August 24, 2013 - Kuwait City, Kuwait - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade, today visited the site of a new Algonquin College campus planned for Kuwait City. Established in partnership with Kuwait-based private firm Orient Education Services, the state-of-the-art facility will serve a student population of between 1,000 and 3,000 students during its first five years. The initial offerings will include a college-preparation course and programs in language, math, business and computer technology. The campus will feature labs and classrooms equipped with the latest technologies, and modern athletic and recreational facilities, and will deliver a wide range of student services. 

Minister Fast is on a five-day visit to Kuwait,Turkey and Saudi Arabia to advance the interests of Canadian businesses in those countries.
