Minister of State Yelich Meets with Canadians Based in Dubai

November 30, 2013 - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - The Honourable Lynne Yelich, Minister of State (Consular and Foreign Affairs), meets with Canadian expatriates based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), to discuss Canada’s long-standing, growing and broad-based partnership with the U.A.E. The meeting was held at the Maple Leaf Restaurant, a Montréal-style delicatessen owned by two brothers from Montréal.

During the meeting, Minister of State Yelich discussed the deepening bilateral and commercial ties between Canada and the region and learned more about the important role that Canadians are playing in strengthening these ties.

Minister of State Yelich is visiting India and the U.A.E. to meet with government and business leaders in order to further bilateral and commercial ties between Canada and Asia and Canada and the Middle East.
