Minister Paradis to Speak at the Canadian Council on Africa’s First Canada-Africa Business Summit

September 17, 2014 — The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, will deliver closing remarks at the Canadian Council on Africa’s first Canada-Africa Business Summit.

During his remarks, Minister Paradis will discuss the role of the private sector in development and Canada’s strategy to eradicate poverty through sustainable, private-sector-led economic growth. The Minister will also announce funding for innovative approaches to ending poverty on the African continent.
