Minister Ambrose to Mark the International Day of the Girl Child 2014

October 9, 2014 – The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, on behalf of the Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, will highlight Canada’s commitment toward girls and women in order to mark the International Day of the Girl Child 2014 at an event in Edmonton, Alberta.

During her remarks, Minister Ambrose will announce funding aimed at improving access to quality education for more girls in developing countries.
