Ambassador Bennett Attends Conference on Religion at McGill
May 28, 2013 - Montréal - Andrew Bennett, Canada’s Ambassador for Religious Freedom, participates in the conference Bridging the Secular Divide: Religion and Canadian Public Discourse at McGill University in Montréal.
The conference explored the role of religion in public discourse, including foreign-policy development. Ambassador Bennett spoke about religious freedom as a key element of Canadian foreign policy and ways the newly created Office of Religious Freedom, which he heads, will advance this priority.
