Minister Day to Speak at Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Annual Conference
The Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will speak at the opening ceremony of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Annual Conference on Friday, June 5, 2009.
Minister Day will discuss the actions being taken by the Government of Canada during the current economic downturn, highlighting key international trade priorities. He will also talk about the issue of protectionism.
