Minister Day to Speak at Conference of Montreal
The Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will speak on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at the 15th annual International Economic Forum of the Americas/Conference of Montreal.
Minister Day will highlight the recent launch of negotiations toward a comprehensive economic partnership agreement between Canada and the European Union, and how such an agreement is a priority for Canada. Following his speech, the Minister will hold a joint media availability with Catherine Ashton, European Commissioner for Trade.
