Government of Canada to Celebrate 60 Years of Canada-Israel Relations
The Honourable John Baird, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, will speak on behalf of the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, as the keynote speaker on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at an international academic conference celebrating 60 years of Canada-Israel relations.
Minister Baird will mark this important occasion by highlighting the many ties enjoyed by Canada and Israel, including their shared commercial relationship.
