Canada to Further Free Trade Agenda

(No. A/110 - November 16, 2009) The Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will speak on behalf of the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, at a press conference on Tuesday, November 17, 2009.

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of State (Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec) and Nabil Barto, Jordan’s Ambassador to Canada, will also participate in the announcement.

Together, they will announce a furthering of Canada’s free trade agenda, and will take questions from the media.
