Minister Van Loan Opens African Innovation and Technology Conference
(No. A/24 – February 4, 2010) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will deliver the opening remarks at a conference celebrating innovation and technological advances in Africa, entitled Africa’s New Frontier.
Minister Van Loan will discuss new opportunities for Canada-Africa commercial relations, highlighting positive developments. He will use this opportunity to emphasize Canada’s commitment to economic integration, including growing trade and investment with this important region.
