International Trade Minister delivers keynote address at University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs
(No. A/100 - June 17, 2010) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will deliver the keynote speech on Friday, June 18, 2010, at the Munk School of Global Affairs and G20 Research Group’s pre-summit conference Governing the Global Economy: The Role of the G20. The conference will provide a forum to discuss the key issues that will be raised at the upcoming G-20 summit.
In his speech, entitled “Opportunities for Global Growth Through Open Trade and Investment,” Minister Van Loan will highlight Canada’s free trade leadership and economic success. He will also discuss Canada’s ambitious free trade agenda and outline Canada’s priorities for next week’s G-20 meeting.
