Minister Van Loan to Hold Media Teleconference to Discuss His Visit to Europe
International Trade Minister to discuss progress on Canada-Europe trade
(No. A/117 - July 15, 2010) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will hold a media teleconference on Friday, July 16, 2010, to discuss his visit to Russia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia.
Minister Van Loan’s visit is focused on promoting Canada-European Union trade negotiations. During his visit the Minister is meeting with government officials and business leaders to promote Canada-Europe trade and highlight Canada’s competitive advantages to European partners.
