Reminder - International Trade Minister Peter Van Loan to Highlight Canada’s Strategy on Free Trade and Investment

Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce and Montreal Council on Foreign Relations to hear benefits of Canada’s aggressive free trade agenda

(No. A/165 – October 31, 2010) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will speak to the Montreal Chapter of the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce and the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations on Monday, November 1, 2010, in Montreal.

Minister Van Loan will discuss Canada’s aggressive free trade agenda and Canada’s trade and investment strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. He will also discuss Canada’s most ambitious free trade initiative since the signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement: the Canada-European Union negotiations toward a broad free trade agreement.
