Minister Van Loan to Hold Media Teleconference from China
Minister will discuss success of China visit and upcoming APEC meeting in Japan
(No. A/97 - June 2, 2010) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will hold a media teleconference on Thursday, June 3, 2010.
Speaking from Beijing, Minister Van Loan will discuss his visit to China and his upcoming participation in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Trade, which is being held June 5 and 6 in Sapporo, Japan.
During his visit to Shanghai and Beijing, the Minister met with local leaders and business executives to highlight the importance of the strong Canada-China commercial relationship and the advantages of doing business in Canada.
